The Kimpton Family has encouraged The Imagine Bus Project since its beginning. William Kimpton, hotel owner and philanthropist has supported great programming at TIBP through The Mental Insight Foundation, making lasting impact on our students. Inspired by her father’s legacy, his daughter Laura Kimpton, a Californiabased American contemporary artist, will be donating her art and her teaching in this one-of-a-kind package. Auction winner can celebrate that as a result of their generosity, Laura Kimpton will also provide lessons in honor of her late father for the students in Sonoma Juvenile Hall, near where the Kimpton Family Foundation is based. She will be inspiring and teaching the art of creativity and self-expression.
Imagine being invited to a dinner in 1819 at Monticello, the elegant home of Thomas Jefferson—president, scientist, farmer, connoisseur, scholar, and author of the Declaration of Independence. Around his table, you’d encounter some of the leading thinkers and activists of the age with whom to spend an intriguing and delightful evening.
Now imagine hosting a Jeffersonian dinner of your own, featuring your guests in the lavish home of style and design maestro Ken Fulk. You and 10 special friends will be led in conversation by best-selling author Dave Eggers for a memorable, powerful night, where you will discuss our youth, and the responsibility and opportunity that we have as a society to partner in making brighter futures for our next generation. Each of your guests will receive a signed copy of Dave Eggers’ The Voice of Witness Reader: Ten Years of Amplifying Unheard Voices.
